Parking

What to do when you arrive

Staying with our sustainability theme, we strongly encourage local bioneers to walk, bike or take public transportation to the site. (http://louisville.edu/parking/commute-green.html)

  • Biking – bicycle rack locations can be found here.
  • Information about biking in Louisville can be found here.
  • Public Transportation – TARC (Transit Authority of River City) provides information about schedules and routes here. TARC also has an Automated telephone Information System that is available to customers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day at (502) 585-1234. The automated system is recommended for those who are unfamiliar with TARC.
  • Out of town bioneers can park in the Floyd Parking structure off of Floyd Street (E3; Building 75 on the map); the red lot found in between the School of Business (Building 90) and School of Music (Building 83) on Saturday and Sunday only); or the Speed Museum Parking off of South Third Street (C3). The UofL Campus Parking Map is located here.

Food

nourishment to sustain

At the conference, there will be some food served a la carte for a minimal suggested donation, though you may feel the need to supplement this with other dining choices. One of the closest and most complete dining options near the conference is the brand new WestSide Dining facility. It is located on the other side of the Business School from Strickler Hall at the corner of 3rd Street and West Brandeis Ave. and offers reasonably priced omnivore, vegan and vegetarian buffet options.
